This policy applies to all customer orders for the supply of goods by MeLa Group Pty Limited trading as Silica Gel Direct.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
This policy is not intended to exclude or limit any statutory rights which a customer may have.
Change of mind returns
The customer may return goods to Silica Gel Direct for change of mind and obtain a credit:(a) except for when the inner plastic bag of the carton or bucket has been opened, desiccant, oxygen absorbers, humidity indicator cards are activated when exposed to air, or products that have been specifically tailored for the customer's requirements, which may not be returned:(b) goods are returned within 30 days of delivery: (c) provided a return authorisation is obtained from Silica Gel Direct in advance of goods being returned; (d) provided the goods are in their original packaging, and in a saleable condition; (e) provided the goods are returned to Silica Gel Direct at the customer's own expense; and (f) on the basis that risk in the goods remains with the customer until received by Silica Gel Direct.
Defective Goods and Incorrect Deliveries
Any goods, which are damaged or defective, delivered after their "use by" or "best before" date, or which are not otherwise in accordance with the customer's order, may be returned Silica Gel Direct within a reasonable time after delivery, at no cost to the customer.
For all warranty claims, Silica Gel Direct will arrange for pick up and assessment of the goods at no cost to the customer. If a product is determined faulty through no fault of the customer, then Silica Gel Direct will facilitate a replacement of the product or offer a refund.
Limitation of Liability: Silica Gel Direct will not accept a returned product where in its reasonable opinion the product is not faulty, the customer has caused the product to become unacceptable or failed to take steps to prevent the product from becoming unacceptable or where the product has been damaged by abnormal use or use not in accordance with Silica Gel Directs instructions. Silica Gel Direct reserves the right to recover its reasonable costs in relation to goods returned in these circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, under this Refunds Policy Silica Gel Direct shall not be liable for collateral, consequential, indirect, incidental or exemplary damages, or any lost profits, related to the goods.
